Fabric Collage Journal Covers

Hi there!
Here are a few journals I made using the collage fabric I made using the technique from Rebekah Meier book. The pieces are sewed to the cover. I have a RubiCoil binder and the pages are a combination of plain and scrapbook paper. I might go back and add some rubber stamping to the covers also.

Mixed Media Fabric 1

Left over mixed media piece from the journal.
Mixed media fabric edged in gold and glued to the front of a spiral bound book I made.

There are many ways to make mixed media fabric. You can make it with
a fabric/paper combo or just fabric. You can use a water/glue mixture or a
collage or matte medium. You can add what ever elements you like to your
"MMF". The choice is yours. One of my favorite ways is from a new book by
Rebekah Meier called "Fabric art collage - 40+ Mixed Media Techniques".
Here are a few samples of what I did.
